England vs Italy
Tip 1: England to win
Reason for the tip: England welcome Italy to Twickenham for this Six Nations encounter. The unexpected loss of Ireland to France has opened the door for England to be crowned champions albeit it long shot. They will need to beat Italy with a bonus point and hope that Scotland can upset France next week in Paris which is highly unlikely.
Both teams in this match have made multiple changes from their last outing with England dropping Marcus Smith to the bench and promoting Elliot Daly to the starting XV. Italy have dropped Tommaso Allan to the bench despite him being the leading points scorer in this season’s competition. I am backing England to overcome Italy as they have the advantage in the forwards and backs.
Crusaders vs Reds
Tip 2: Crusaders to win
Reason for the tip: The Crusaders play host to the Reds in this Super Rugby encounter with the home side looking to bounce back after they received a thumping by the Chiefs last time out. They had a bye last week and nothing but win will make their home fans happy. The visitors are one of only two unbeaten teams in this season’s competition. They have looked excellent in the opening two rounds especially their attack has been deadly.
The Reds are the one Aussie side that plays like a Kiwi team with their off loading in attack being very hard to defend against. The home side have dropped Levi Aumua to the bench with Dallas McLeod promoted to the starters. The visitors have also made changes with Harry McLaughlin-Phillips replacing Tom Lynagh in the ten jersey. I am predicting a Crusaders win as they are very hard to beat at home.

Reason for tip: The Crusaders will not be taking the Reds lightly after the Aussies won in Christchurch last season. This time round the home side have two of their star players, Codie Taylor and Will Jordan back in their ranks. The home side have arguably the strongest front row in the competition and will be targeting the scrums from the onset. The visitors will be hoping that nine Tate McDermott can continue his early season form. I am backing Crusaders to win by more than 14 points and cover the -10.5 handicap.
